Assistant Controller
Western Piedmont Community College is seeking to fill the following position: Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Business Office, return to Title IV payments, oversee internal audit process, and any duties as assigned by the Controller. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related area required.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles including fund accounting, accruals, and the appropriation of financial statements required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Three to Five years’ experience in related field required.
- Experience in Datatel (Colleague) preferred.
- Community College System experience preferred.
Salary Hiring Range: Minimum to Midpoint ($3,009 – 3,762/monthly)
